Sharing My WordPress Theme

I want to start sharing more of the code I write and things I produce (those things I can, anyway), so I figure releasing the source to my WordPress theme is a start. View the source on github here

If you’re at all interested in how I went about creating anything on this site, I encourage you to take a look on github. The documentation could definitely be better—and it’s on my laundry list of things to do now that it’s finally launched—but you should be able to work your way around just fine if you’re at all familiar with WordPress.

If you’re digging around the CSS and/or javascript, you’ll notice I’m using includes and CodeKit prepends, not all of which are currently in the repo (CodeKit let’s me manage frameworks/libraries outside of the file path, which is super handy for obvious reasons).

Also, below is a list of  the plugins I’m currently using:

  • W3 Total Cache
  • Advanced Custom Fields
  • All in One SEO Pack
  • Google Sitemap Generator
  • Gravity Forms
  • Jetpack
  • Post Thumbnail Editor

The only IE I’m officially supporting with this site/theme is IE9. All the others are just given the option to install ChromeFrame. Maybe I’ll work on that.. But probably not.

Any and all feedback/questions are welcome. Oh, and I wrote this post on the WordPress iPad app, so let’s hope nothing breaks.

    Hello,
how do you do the “Notify me” Checkboxes on Comment-form? I Cant find it in the Theme Files from GitHub. Can you say it to me? I will use the same for my own blog.
